3 There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews:
2 The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him.
3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?
5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
There are many signs disclosed in the Holy Bible that will help anyone to know if we are walking and living the life of a born again believer in Christ Jesus. Jesus Christ told Nicodemus that he must be born again in order to inherit the Kingdom of God as written the the above John 3:1-6. This is a very critical divine statement by Jesus Christ that every child of God must pursue in order to be apart of His reign in the earth.
Most of the children of God know that anything that portrays fleshly acts are not of God. Intentional acts in the flesh that are acted out knowingly can inhibit our growth and keep our relationship detached from God leaving prayers unanswered. Not only this it can also lead to us know having entrance into the heavenly abode of Abba Father.
Before we can stop fleshly acts we must know what they are according to the Word of God, repent, and strive to overcome them.
The Word of God tells us that the following signs that are an abomination to God, and are fleshly acts that can hinder our access to the Kingdom of God.
Proverbs 6:16-19 King James Version (KJV)
16 These six things doth the Lord hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him:
17 A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,
18 An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief,
19 A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.

A proud look. ‘Self’ that is holding titles, positions, social statuses, and just simply have the upper hand over others tend to carry a proud look. Proud look in this context is referring to ‘self’ who has an exalted appearance. This is a fleshly act that is produced from inside and expressed outwardly. Pride is reflected in the countenance of ‘self’ who desires inwardly to be greater and lifted above all. “Self’ does not even mind what God says because ‘self’ is determined at all cost to be raised higher than all.

A lying tongue. ‘Self’ does this act often for gain, pleasure, deceit, fraud, carrying out false oaths or vows, and swearing falsely just because ’self’ want to fool another in vain. ‘Self’ will also attempt to trap another into appearing to be a lie for selfish gain.

Hands that shed innocent blood. Not only does ‘self’ want to shed innocent blood in the physical, but in the spiritual as well. ‘Self’ knows that every time a true born again believers heart pumps there is an opportunity to increase the flow by inflicting them with spiritual trauma.

A heart that devises wicked imaginations. In the days of Noah, ‘self’ continued to do whatever ‘self’ wanted to do. ‘Self’s’ vain imaginations concluded that God would not destroy the earth. So, ‘self’ continued with vain imaginations that were an abomination unto God until ‘self’ was destroyed.’Self’s mind was subjected to a evil system that promoted unclean habits that ‘self’ was comfortable with.

Feet that run swift to mischief. “Self’ acts out fleshly and is unbridled. “Self’ has no constraints nor desires any to keep ‘self’ from losing control. As soon as ‘self’ hears something ‘self’ runs to use it as mischief without finding out if it is true. ‘Self’ lacks control and moves quickly to do evil fleshly acts instead of pondering on what God would want ‘self’ to do.

Sowing discord among the children of God. As soon as ‘self’ sees a team effort, ‘self’ with divide it. As soon as ‘self’ see cheerful communication, ‘self’ will lessen it. As soon as ‘self’ sees one accord, ‘self will so a seed of strife. ‘Self’ fears unity because there is strength in it when there are numbers. A child of God will bring truth of the Word of God to help individuals to discern good and evil. ‘Self’ will tell a lie to hide the evil creating and environment of discord.
Again these are just a few signs that will help us to see if we are firmly rooted as a born again believer in Jesus Christ and seeking His Kingdom and righteousness. If there is any area that is negatively impacting your life and you want to overcome, repent and ask Jesus Christ to empower and equip you to prevail. Remember we must be born again to inherit the Kingdom of God.
