The Bible presents pride not merely as arrogance but as a spiritual condition that blinds individuals to truth, leads to rebellion, and separates them from God's favor. The "spirit of pride" is a recurring theme throughout Scripture, often preceding destruction and spiritual failure. The Origin of Pride: Lucifer’s Fall The most common example of pride is found in Isaiah 14:12–15, where Lucifer declares: “I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God… I will be like the Most High.” This self-exaltation led to his fall, setting the precedent for pride as rebellion against God. Goliath’s Pride in His Strength In 1 Samuel 17, Goliath, a Philistine giant, defied the armies of Israel for forty days. His towering height and military prowess gave him confidence that he could not be defeated. He mocked Israel and their God, saying: “Am I a dog, that you come at me with sticks?” (1 Samuel 17:43) Goliath’s pride blinded him to the power of God ...

Kingdom Keys: He That Is Greater In Me!

Source: Pexels.com The scripture often quoted by individuals, “Greater is He in me than that that is in the world” is stated nonchalantly without thinking out who or what is really in thee. Babies that are still having their food softened, as well as those that have grown to a mature age in Christianity quote the scripture just the same. “Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world,” 1 John 4:4 (KJV) is not a scripture that should be taken lightly. The Holy Bible should be eaten in it’s entirety in order to capture its full contextual meaning for what God meant for it to be so that the children of God can walk in fullness of faith. The deepness of the verse starts at the beginning when the Apostle John declares through inspiration that “Ye are of God.” One that is using the text must know their position and relationship with God in order to partake of the fullness of the context....

The Gospel vs. The Gospel of the Kingdom: A Biblical and Hebraic Exploration

Introduction The message of Jesus Christ was not merely about salvation—it was about a Kingdom. While many today preach "the gospel" as the good news of personal salvation through faith in Jesus, the Messiah Himself emphasized a broader, more powerful message: the gospel of the Kingdom of God. Understanding this distinction is vital to grasping the full scope of biblical truth and the inheritance promised to believers. --- Scriptural Foundations (KJV) - Jesus’ Message: “From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” — Matthew 4:17 “And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.” — Matthew 24:14 - Paul’s Gospel Emphasis: “Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you… by which also ye are saved…” — 1 Corinthians 15:1-2 “For ...

Kingdom Mandate: Devotions - From Scarabs to Gold

In the book of Genesis 41 verses 53 through 57 it says "And the seven years of plenty, which was in the land of Egypt, were ended. And the seven years of dearth began to come and all countries came into Egypt to Joseph for to buy corn; because that the famine was so sore in all lands." In those days, Egypt became the storehouse of the world. Scarabs amulets shaped like the sacred beetle were traded across cultures. These small carved stones carried not only spiritual meaning but also economic value. They crossed borders as tokens of wealth, exchanged for corn during famine.

Kingdom Mandate: Building Without A God-given Vision

From the beginning of time, humanity has longed to build — to rise, to achieve, to make a name for itself. But not every vision is born of God. Some are born of pride." “In the plains of Shinar, they said, ‘Come, let us build ourselves a city, with a tower that reaches to the heavens, so that we may make a name for ourselves.’ But the Lord saw their ambition, and He descended. He scattered their speech, and their unity crumbled.”

365 Day Reminder Do Not Fear!

365 Per Day Reminder Do Not Fear! DAY ONE Do not be afraid to judge righteously, according to the WORD of GOD and HIS sovereign will because of peers, social, political, titles, positions, fraternal circles, and other biased motives. Deu 1:17 Ye shall not respect persons in judgment; but ye shall hear the small as well as the great; ye shall not be afraid of the face of man; for the judgment is GOD's: and the cause that is too hard for you, bring it unto me, and I will hear it. It is amazing that there are 365 days in a year. Some will live all of the days in fear. Fear of war. Fear of hunger. Fear of being homeless. Fear of economic shifts. Fear of losing a job. Fear of death. Fear of divorce. Fear of rejection Fear of sickness. Fear of germs. Fear of making the wrong choices. Fear of accidents Fear of change. Fear of many things. Some say it is the major cause of stress, depression, anxiety and many other psychological analytical diagnostic terms As a child of ...
